We acknowledge with gratitude that we call home the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Syilx people on the lake shores of the Okanagan Nation and next to the tides on the land of the Coast Salish people of the Squamish Nation.
What happens when “twin strangers” come face-to-face? Nathaniël and Edward, Sheena and Desirée, Kiki and Elaine are about to come face-to-face with their unrelated lookalike and confront not only their reflection but also their deepest desires for human connection. DOPPELGANGERS: Face to Face is a fun but poignant documentary that investigates today’s preoccupation with the power and importance of identity through the journeys of a diverse and exceptional group of individuals all hunting for their “twin stranger.”
